European Chilled Food Federation

CFA is a founder member of the European Chilled Food Federation (ECFF) which was formed in 1991. It is the umbrella organisation for national chilled food associations and individual European chilled food manufacturers where no national association exists.

Its members include national organisations from Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK.

The objectives of ECFF are to:

1. Distribute information about the European chilled food industry and market to members and member companies and relevant international stakeholders
2. Protect and enhance consumer trust in prepared chilled foods and in the way that they are produced. Active cooperation to make guidelines for the sector
3. To develop a common European approach to safety, quality, transparency and sustainability in the production and distribution of chilled prepared foods.
4. To follow legislation and inform European bodies and relevant international stakeholders on relevant developments and issues in the prepared chilled food industry.
